What We Do

MeckEd recognizes effective leaders and community engagement are essential to a public education system that graduates students who are college- or career-ready. We serve as a connector to unite civic and faith-based organizations, community leaders, parents, teachers, CMS, businesses, and other stakeholders around a shared vision for our public schools.

Program of Work

MeckEd launched the Career Pathways Program in August 2012 to directly address the urgent need to help students graduate from CMS college- or career-ready. The Career Pathways Program will create a coherent pipeline from K-12 to post-secondary education to help students access pathways toward 21st-century career opportunities.
