Parent University

Developed to enhance parents' connections to and involvement with CMS and the lives of their children, Parent University offers courses, activities, and resources to parents across Mecklenburg County. It is designed to support the role of parents in ensuring the academic success of their children. Courses are offered at different locations around Mecklenburg County.

The four areas of concentration in the program will evolve over time and will mirror the recommended parent support elements outlined in New Leaders for New Schools' Urban Excellence Framework.
